Ok after being back in hosp, and having torn another disk... im 4 weeks even worse off my consultant said now. more bolts ehh

So what better time to sit in my wheel chair and devise a plan.

I will have my car on road in next 3 months.

People if you have parts that are not needed let me know i may have some cash to give.

For example i need a mint steering wheel and boss.

The rubber bit that sits between the rear engine mount the plate and the gear box.

I need mint ph1 door cards

Nice buckets and low side mounts

Black harneses....

i could go on...

Sh!t, man.... I've got a fooked disk in my back that looks like it'll need surgery soon. Felt like an old man rolling around on the concrete getting my engine out yesterday.

Update.

Windscreen to be fitted, and after speaking to the body shop my faith is restored.

They have agreed to take the car back to fix all the bits that are not as they should be. This will happen first week of october, so ile leave some fresh piccys then

Engine is in (thanks guys)

Still required a few bits from renault

Gear oil

Coolant

Anti roll bar bushes sorting!!! fecking things

Roll cage bolted in

Lights in and front bumper and game on to the body shop

Was a good eve matey, shame there wasn't much progress made, what with the head having to come off due to a fubbard spark plug hole

was 1 step forward and 2 steps back. But at least that is all sorted now, and a few other things done in the right direction.

Neeed some help.

Toying with the idea of taking the 5 total back to o.e interior wise.

Also make the exterior look o.e so ile just store the cup wheels away. and get one of my speed line sets on.

Question is should i keep going, cage it, harneses seats etc like ive always wanted.

or do i make the interior as mint as i possibly can standard wise.

I really am stuck between the two... thing is i have drilled the holes for the cage already, so they would require welding up.

hmmmm help appreciated

I've got a similar thought to you. I'm getting alot of parts together for next year to make mine minty mint, but realy don't know which way to go as I have always had stripped out Slaggggs, and love them and want to get alot more track days under my belt, buf I also want the euro look with nice subtle interior , which I have already, ow which way to go.

Update, Electrics all checked and working ok woooooo

A few issues, the cars in neutral according to the gear stick, yet its in gear.

No 3rd 4th or 5th

At a guess just fiddle with the gear linkage?

Apart from that just gotta sell cage and cup wheels and ile finnish her off

Turning over but no spark so no ignition, but also no sign of fuel making its merry way up....

think maybe tdc and kind lead req

At least it is wanting to turnover

before you replace the tdc john try another relay by the aei to see if that helps give spark if not then get another tdc. Remember matey if there is no spark there will be no fuel. The flywheel wheel will trigger the tdc which will then give spark which will also send a signal via the aei to the fuel pump relay which will activate the fuel pump.

New expansion bottle to be fitted,

New intercooler not to stay on, storing.

just needs a tidy but looks ok
