so i m definatly goin to be going next and hopefully more RTOC members will aswell
A late reply perhaps but what a great day out
Really enjoyed myself and met some great people. I've never seen more than one renault 21 turbo in the same at the same time, so to see 5 on the stand was pretty cool. To be honest I really quite fancy a quadra.
Spoke to some great people and managed to talk renault for hours.
Big thanks to Chris for making this happen. You're a legend buddy
Roll on national day now
The Talbot Sunbeam was immense in every sense. That ran a 55 second lap when we timed it.
If you want to see the Talbot driven in anger he will probably be at the Barbon hill climb on 15th June.
Had a good day....thanks Chris for letting the 21toc leech some club stand space
My NSF front tyre isnt looking to healthy
Fuego would have fitted right in there, defo taking that next year!
Glad all of you came dave thanks and please say thank you to the others and hopefully we will keep working with the 21 club thanks mate
At a guess that would be TNT Andy
Yup
My problems have disappeared.
What is happening with mallory. Lack of funds? Neighbor problems? Its a shame if it does close
Nope. All plug and play. I have:
Adaptronic 420C
Serial extension cable with a M:M adapter into...
Bluetooth transmitter (Or netbook/laptop without the M:M adapter)
Techedge WB02 2AO (http://wbo2.com/2a0/default.htm) with a VW 6-wire lambda and another serial cable into the serial in port of the 420C
The only 'made' wiring is from when Scoff installed the unit. ie, the engine loom. I originally wired it up by unsoldering a plug from an OE ECU board, joining the adaptronic wires to the unsoldered pins and plugging it into the engine loom of the car. It worked, but not as well as I hoped (as I was originally going to use the ECU across 3 cars with the same loom plug).
Five years later (lol) I get my shizzle together and get Scoff to do it properly with a 36-1 triggerwheel, 8 injector capable and hardwired in to the Quadra. If I want one in my Fuego i'll buy another lol
Lemme know if you want linking to the bits and settings I used
Cheers Dave - I'll have a word with Scoff when I'm ready to do this. I have a few things in the pipeline atm before this. Classy bit of work there fella. I have the 440 select, so no sieriel port, mini usb instead. I was majorly impressed with Jann's install in his Twingo last week in Belgium, he has a Tablet permanently installed recording and controlling stuff, very tech.
Thanks again.
Yes I was considering dropping the whole dash and instrument cluster out and replacing it with an Android tablet. The thing(s) that stopped me is the warning lights and fuel gauge, plus all the other priorities for the car.... such as stopping the rust, fitting the big brakes, and finishing off the engine i've spaffed seven grand on so far lol
