any dates etc set for 2012?
Under discussion at the moment
sweet, need to scribble them down on my santa pod calender .
as a note i think this year it would be nice to see rtoc attending french car show as its being hosted at donnington ,
Discussion has ended and an announcement is imminent innit
I had a great time last year, ran out of beer though in the evening.
I'm looking forward to the next one.
Always an amazing event weather is always good rob likes a few beers brothers cider ftw mr m knows that
Hope its at the pod, racing, camping and beer its what weekends are all about.
Brothers ciders FTW ! festival strength of course
Brothers isn't cider! For that you need to see this man!

Is this some sort of code?
any closer to a date.. i wana start buying tickets for some shows
We have sorted a date .
Sunday 02/09/2012
This year we have decided to see how it goes tagging on to one of the Peak Performance days .Booking Pod at the weekend is impossible but this way it will give those not able to attend during the week a chance to pop along if only to spectate .
http://www.rwyb.co.uk/performance.php
Still the same unlimited running time as limited to 100 cars on the day .
We have purchased 40 tickets at a reduced price so space will be limited ( this was based on runners over the past few years )
It also means there will be a lot of 'other ' cars on show to keep us all entertained
Track prep should be good on one of those days from what i hear?
Yep that is another plus .It will be a tiptop track
Prices?
Slightly cheaper than POD advance price of £60 ( entry £10 + sign on £50 )
Bugger I'm away for this. :'( it'll be the first one I've missed.
Good luck to all that run and hope everyone has a good night at the tidy tent.

Thats a good idea, whoever came up with that, well done
Previous years track conditions have been very average because we usually (or never ?) pay for the additional track preperation. At a peak performance day the track will be 10 times what we have been used to before. The lot will be glued, not just the 60' or 330', whatever they normally do.
There also won't be that many other cars if normal test/tune days are anything to go by. There won't be much of a queue and they will be serious racers, not idiots with treads pulling water and other crap up the track. Should be a good day.
This all sounds good to me, i'll be along for this thankfully its just before i go on holiday too so won't miss it.
il be attending this
and gives me a date to try and get my car ready for if it ever makes it out of the bodyshop
are we good to camp the saturday prior ??, and wil many be doing this.?
top idear i remember talking to chris miller and stu thc about this last year and a couple of others on the banking as i was moaning about grip. ace top work count me in
Hi All - just a thought - can the name of this thread be changed as it may be an immediate turn off for those who find it hard to get time off work and actually it's on a Sunday LOL.
Changed the thread title but can't access Admin to alter the parent folder title .Perhaps someone else can do that please ( Dawn ? )
A thread for you lot to discuss and ask questions until the official FAQ sheet it out (within the next few days)
Have tidied it all up a bit and renamed some folders, to keep it nice and tidy
glad to see a date set, cant wait
Glad this is on a Sunday now, it sounds like its going to be a much better day for you lot running, and people spectating! Sounds like there could be a few peoples pb's beaten!
Right so date set for this.. And just were an I suppose to get slicks?
When can we expect tickets to go on sale? After National day?
Me and my bro will both be attending, I have even managed to persuade the mrs to come along.
Like DJ said, will there be camping available on the Saturday night?
I think there will be camping that weekend santa pod also has vw action going on as well the gates open on Friday at 10 am. The last few years that I have been going it has been very full but good fun this years Theme party is Happy Days on saturday night.
Ill be up for a September day. Might even fit the nitrous again.
question . . . . will there be a way of doing a small stand or summing ? so that all the fives are together ? keeps em out the field too
We definitely won't be out in the field, this is more of a testing day for the others that will be there, it'll be a quiet day compared to what we are used to on a regular RWYB day for example
sounds mint but im not sure my five will be setup and ready to run down the quarter so was hopeing to come along to the event with it and still be involved with everyone else . thats why i saked about a stand? or a group parking area ? be nice to see a group of fives together
FYI - Pod tickets will be on sale at Blyton park
Also in the club shop I'm presuming, as I won't be attending blyton.
Yup, I'll be listing them this weekend in the shop
no national day is over, this is the next event im looking forward to, ill also be bringing the r5 to this one to get a few runs down, out of interest will there be an option for limited runs to anything, rather than the full day spec.
No, it's just the full day option unfortunately but for £60 that's awesome. It's not the usual RWYB day, the place will be heaving with ridiculously powered tuning company cars and the track will be fully race prepped, which we've never had before
Tickets for 1/4 milers are for sale in the club shop right now guys
Any spectators can just pay their entrance on the gate
