I've just come back from Pod with Robbie (turbo ted), witnessed 2 10.7@133mph and then the 10.6@133mph! Well done that man
Play was ended with a snapped driveshaft, looks like the spline/bearing carrier which sits in the box passenger side has let go but the box has held out all day which made him happy and me too since i got it built for him!

Mark, how did the lag look in 2nd gear ? I was a bit worried it might struggle with the big turbo.

here i am in the 10's!! I did only 4 runs, all in the 10's, 10.8, 10.7, 10.7 and then 10.6 to top my day off.

Not too sure if anyone got vids, maybe his missus did.
Scoff mate, there seemed to be no lag at all it pulled very hard and didn't loose spool through any of the gears. On the 10.6 run it just seemed to just grip and go!
Robbie did say once it hit 3rd gear it just took off

you can see from the video there is no lag from this garrett gt35r turbo with piper 285 cams this seems to be a very good combo, time for a bit more boost maybe

First time I've seen that happen, lets hope it was just a one off.
Think he's on about welding up the next one to prevent it happening next time.

It just cracked by the look of it plus the oil came out clean.
