    Re: motivation

I find when i loose it abit i just leave it for little while, have a chill from it then when feel good enough to have a crack at the car i'll go back to it.

Think the cold days do it too, sometimes think why the hell am i out in the cold doing this!

    Re: motivation

I think motivation for something you cant do yourself is allways difficult. Especially bodywork as it seems like it should be sooooooooooooo easy but in fact, its not
Costs a fortune but think about the finished product a good job will look fantastic.
If you dont want to fork out the money then just trackday it

I find the motivation part easy, hardest bit is lack of time to get anything done at the moment unless working until silly hours on a work night

Unheated garage doesnt help things too in this weather!

    Re: motivation

I find the r5 quite an easy one to motivate myself because so far i havnt really found anything to to hard.

I find occasionaly any car gets me down , but when you starting the r5 and first hit boost its always worth it.

I do find however that if i spend too long driving it it gets a bit dull so i love swapping cars etc.

ive recently felt like this about my clio gt turbo ..i got it towed home and just left it ..2weeks its been sitting....ive recently just had an operation ...so it will be left till next year. I think ive bent a pushrod ...throttle jammed open ....since then major overfueling and it aint been running properly .

As said ...some time off it ...and get back to it ..usually helps me

I never do anything with mine really these days. Maybe drive it to a meet or two.
If I need inspiration to do anything with it, I'll have a look through the projects and restorations. Always seems to work
