New to the club mate, so havent got a clue who's it was.......but it was red. hope this helps LOL
Actually its the red car on photo 2 of Paul R's photo's

if your car had'nt had a fire or your tire had'nt blew 2day you just were'nt trying it was like the wacky races. top stuff
Yep was Russell T - dip stick was out a bit and sprayed oil everywhere he was back on track though
BRILLIANT DAY!!! Loved it!
I get a shiver down my spine when I see the bulkhead removed and the fan kept. I see carbon monoxide, and fuel being thrown into the cabin. Seriously guys, if you're going to do that get your cabin air from somewhere else.
Sad to see Doris looking so distressed, glad to hear that she survive the ordeal.
Anyone with pics please stick them in the files section

Good days, friday night was good before my stupid cold kicked in, saturday felt really crap, dunno how I managed to drive home, had planned on staying Saturday night too just my lusk as ever, if it can go wrong, it will.
Everyone laughed at my Rover when I turned up on Friday night, bit of a comical car. I had an air bed in the boot but by the time I went to bed it had gone flat. I froze my bollocks off in the back wih all my clothes on and two blankets. I had a mingin hangover on Saturday and apparently kept drifting off while people were talking to me
Knocked it off with the weather guys ,looked like it was a top day ,track action looked great fun Im guessing the day went smoothly ,was there any track casualties ?
Keep the pics and videos coming guys looked like there was some really nice cars on show
who were the prize winners?
here a cpl of links to pics that were on cliosport

Got 159 pics of the car from Dave doing the photos but never got a flame shot
Mine was the black vx with the black wheels and rear wing
PMSL just worked out my mpg on track yesterday and got 6.81mpg!!! LOL

I had a great weekend even though I had a few niggles with the alternator belt coming loose a couple of times (until I double nutted it) and the minor annoyance of a major blow out of the right hand rear tyre! (Thanks for the loan of your car to get the new tyres Shop Boy!)
A split water pipe on the last lap of the last session has meant she is coming home on a recovery truck but Phatty did me proud completing over 100 miles on track flat out up to 7k revs with awesome brakes and pretty good handling too.
I missed a couple of hours of track time but am now convinced I need a pure track car again as I really miss the old red racer.
Thanks to Miller and the crew for the day but next time can we have the chicanes added as 5's are built for corners!
Good to see all the usual suspects and a few new faces.
Well finally bodged the water system in the end, so got it going got about 10 miles into the journey and then started loosing oil, the engine mount which snapped, went through the water jacket and into the oil system.
got home just after 11. Big thanks to every1 that helped and lent me some tools and an even bigger thanks for the people who organised the day. brilliant
i bumped into them around town while i was busy getting lost ,
assuming they were going to mallory park .ended up finding the way for the lot of us
they told me they have been camping with rtoc ,so i guess someone from the camp
crew can give more info on that .
i also remember seeing the addy of their website/forum on one of the cars
but cant remember what it was
fricking ace weekend, spent nearly all day on track, sorry to those who didnt get a go in the car and wanted one., i think i pulled over 300 mile on track, and destroyed a brand new set of 888s but it was worth it, thanks to all those that made it happen
lol did you once on gerrards, was talkin to some peeps about the cars out, the only cars i couldnt crack that day were ures and griers vx, passed everything else i bumped into
anyone have some incar vids of the day?
Everyone agrees then what a day! Brought my mate in his purple Volvo he loved it. Couldn't have gone any better even with a few hiccups from the 5 awesome. Where do I buy my ticket for next year? Thanks again to all who organised it, felt alot more of a club day than last year. The open pit policy made the day think everyone got there fill of track time
GG (medium) for the fronts next time then Paul - shame you had problems with the engine mount as I always did with that car - improve when something is near its limit or broken
Sorry I never got time to take you out - and everyone else who wanted a few laps should have done a rota - not helped by a rear left toeing out lol oh and the loose rear right track rod end at the begining of the day giving me skyline styleeee rear steer lol - time for a geo but still went well - even fridge freezer was impressed (and he has jap taxi lol)
Thanks to Clee for use of his tools and Sage and Emma for the low jacks - brining tools in the vx is not the easiest
