Hi all, I know this is a bit of a hi-Jack but the title fits. I am suffering similar issues with my 1.7 mm needle vv, so I ordered a 2.0mm one from eBay at the link above in this thread and it doesn't want to seal at higher boost, basically the carb goes mega rich after a couple of seconds at WOT - 9 AFR. I've tried drilling out a 1.7 with the same problems experienced, so have I been unlucky abd should try another 2mm vv or should I modify the float to compensate?
Also I am a tad rich on part throttle (120 main, 1.0 air corrector and first, 1.2 2nd and 25mm venturi) up to 12.5, what should I consider to lean it out a bit more on part throttle, as I am still a bit lean at WOT too (13 AFR)...? any advice appreciated!
