    fuel gauge playing up

yesterday whilst checking earths etc due to back light problems i managed to lose my fuel gauge on dash.. does this earth through the back passenger side light as this was removed ? or is it somthing to do with the large connector block under the drivers side headlight.

All fuel gauge loom goes through the RH (drivers) side. That said, dodgy earths (or lack of) can throw all sorts of weird faults out.

Try, checking the aux fuel pump timer behind the RH rear seat interior panel.
