Got car running the other week with new exhaust on and @ approx 1200rpm the exhaust is 99db. Has anyone seen them flaps / valves you can put in the system to make quieter and open at higher revs. Tried google and eBay and all i can find is the flaps like tractors have
search for exhaust cutout valve, theres also a version available that uses and actuator that makes the flap open the more the wastegate opens.
what exhaust you got to run 99db at 1200rpm?

apart from that your talking big money for a electric one
why not fit a db killer, dosnt realt restric airflow but makes it quiter

We did use a iPhone application to take the reading so maybe that isn't as good as they saybut it seemed to get quieter when we upped the revs.

Na didn't get ripped off as didnt cost me a penny, there is wadding in the rear box but think i may need a middle box aswell. It actually gets quieter the higher the revs
that is mega loud tho, what turbo,elbow you running?
i dont think mine was that bad even when i ran a k-tec sidey with the box removed!
did sound awesome on boost, and when you let off you could hear the turbo spooling down in the exhaust note
