    front hub and bearing

To change the front hub and wheel bearing is it just a case of taking the disc off then taking the big driveshaft nut off then bash it off as one complete part??

    Re: front hub and bearing

you have to take the hub out first than seperate 2 parts by "bashing" method
once inner part is out you will be left with bearing inside the outer .
which is another bashing job from the right places after taking the locking clip out!!

the usual problem with this is the inner race of the bearing getting stuck on the inner
hub face i found ,but thats no problem if you have steady hands,a dremel and some
    cutting discs

so to take the hub off..you just take the disc off, then driveshaft nut...then it pulls off?
