whos going , and whos camping at this?
thanks
im deffo going just dont know whats the best days to camp (if anyone is from the club) etc ????
I'm going but not on the club patch . Jesus and I have booked track time so we'll have a pit
I'm not sure what's happening on the official club side of things ,but I'll bring some shop stuff and be around the place all day if anyone needs anything .I will be doing the rounds with flyers for National Day I expect
is there anything to do fri & saturday as i dont understand why there is camping for these nights if the FCS is sunday ...?? surely ppl only want to camp sat or sun night not friday?
Hi mate
the camping was offered due to demand (and requests), initially it was sat night only but there are people coming from Europe i.e. the 5GT Club who are booked three nights.
Scottish Clio lads are travelling down Friday also so wanted Friday camping.
Saturday night if the popular night with out 250+ people camping.
Mark
ive ordered, 2 tickets, no camping.
I'll hopefully order mine nearer the end of the week once i know how the cars coming along so i know whether i can bring it not to get it on the stand!!
there is plenty room for you and we have almost 20 RTOC cars booked in so far.
Mark
Ive just ordered my ticket and track time
ok booked my tickets now
am i able to get a stand
Hi mate
you have specified RTOC so dont worry you will get a R window pass for the renault gate and your club stand will be marked out.
Mark
What time must be be on stand ( to work out a time to leave) There is at least 3 of us leaving from the burton on trent area, if anybody else is coming im sure you could tag along
does any1 know if theres a db limit on track?
also had my times throught this morning... bit pants really... both times are togeather... 10;00-10;15 10;15-10;30.. any way of changing these, if something goes wrong in the first session im fecked for the next..
Noise Limits: 103dB @ 0.5m, 45° from Exhaust, ¾ max RPM
But I have never seen anyone kicked off.
Mark
thanks , remeber last year there was loads of silly loud cars there.. just hoping my sidey will be ok
I don't believe the will bat an eyelid unless its incredibly bad.
There is a rally stage on plus a 205 T16 Group B taking to the track at lunch, they must be louder but then again I ain't heard your car.
103 is a fair limit as it used to be 98 !
ok that all good then... anything we can do with these track times as mentioned?
hi mate
I am nothing to do with time allocation but I will say this in the meantime.
1 - you will get longer out on track as no pace car on second session as you will get at start of each session for track familiarisation and you can use the pit lanes. Its a constant run for 30 minutes on track.
If anything happens to causes you a big problem give Gordon a buzz on 07971055152 and I will sort you out on the day with another session. If you still want to discuss ping Gordon an email at gordon@frenchcarshow.co.uk with details and order number.
Many people (incl RTOC) asked us for extended sessions and quite a few clubs lets us down last minute with orders so left loads of 30 minute slots to fill.
Mark
thanks mate
want you to have a good day !
Mark
not been before is it worth going
have a look at http://www.frenchcarshow.co.uk
the show has had a major revamp this year so hopefully if you come you will enjoy it
if i buy my tickets and put myself down for the RTOC stand before the shut off date of tomoz, if the cars not ready and i don't bring it does it matter??
I have to sell my french car show ticket, as i cant get the time off work. + im waiting on a new carb & not sure if it will be here on time.
the ticket is for entrance and camping fri/sat night cost me £50 deliverd.
sell for £40 inc p&p
is there anyway of putting a club stand pass aside for me?
i dont know if im going yet but if i do go i will only go if i can put the car on the stand.
furiokid

sorry for the late one, will i be able to get stand tickets on wednesday? my car has to be mot'ed, ive been away but really want to get the gordini there.
Our cut off is Monday but the shop will be left open for the off sale as we can cope sending the odd envelope out during the week. So yes thats fine but no later than Wed.

New poster! (less than 10 posts)
I'm going there with the R19 Turbo (if it doesn't break ), all the way from Belgium, with Renault Club Belgium... (about 3 cars this year lol)...
Bad news for me, been trying to get mine taxed all day and its been impossible with so many unhelpful people, which means i won't be able to bring my 5 :-(.
I've got a spare dash pass if anyone needs it, be coming down in my mates van lol
im going now m8 but i dont have a pass
ive asked for a pass to be left at the gate for me but incase it isnt, any chance i can nick yours?
PM for you mate, give us a bell if you have any probs :-)
Day
Tracktime was well organised and very little waiting Just a few too many numptys on track that wouldn't move
Good few Rtoc'ers there and the VAN is fast becoming a crowd pleaser
Mr J in his new robes about to deliver the Sermon on the Rock

He's got that far away look down to a t innit
its the "catalogue kid"
Brilliant show, much better this year due to the weather being real nice.
Saw Brigsy's van on the RTOC stand and saw him out on track. Also saw the black R5 running the VAG engine (fooking quick)
Was gutted that I couldn't bring mine today but was good to see so many tidy R5s
had a brilliant day with dicky and djinuk, respect goes out to clee for driving pretty much flat out on the track
Had good day Impromptu track session showed the van didn't want to play generally mis-firing on way round! Shame really as the rock is an awesome track.
Just got back now, 5 hr journey as last 100 or so miles on way back the van was mis-firing & generally breaking down every 5 mins. Think the aei is on its last legs as something is breaking down under load ignition related.
Big thanks to clee for the gallon of petrol, Jesus for the track time & the rest of the rtoc members for the banter as usual
