is that a .49 exhaust housing? if so it's quite small for a 1.8L engine.

I'd say so, you don't usually get the raised lugs for the brackets on the .64's
Is the turbo even Garrett?

nice to see someone doing up a phase 1 16v..... had an exec p1 3door in blue yrs ago, loved that car. and with a turbo spot on

It's an .49 exh, and it's not a garret, it's a custom turbo from MB Carperformance in holland...

Very nice mate, i love the mk1 19's so much better looking than the mk2..
I have to say i prefer it with the silver wheels on it, looked well retro..

Yesterday was D-Day at the dyno, the result... will upload the graph. later...
R19 16v low boost turbo:
At 0,7 bar boost. (still pretty safe)
191,1 HP
247,7 NM
This in HP at the wheels, for figures at the fly, you need to ad some more...
I was very happy with the result, not bad for a low-budget turbo conversion.
