    GSF Parts

Are the parts they supply for the 5 original Renault or third party copies? If they're copies are they good? And does it really matter?

Depends on the part. Some are OEM Renault bits and others are patent parts. Sparkie is your man...

    Re: GSF Parts

alot of the stuff used to original...but now alot of it is chinese - but thats the same with all motorfactors now.

the trick is to keep and eye on quality.

one favoured scam that the chinese do, is show you a part that looks mint and OE spec, but when you order them, they are made a different factory and the parts are sh1te! wrong threads, dodgy bearings all sorts of rubbish.

Is the GSF discount card still relevant as I got the feeling it didn't really count as much these days... The guy behind the counter kind of smiled when I showed it him - maybe he just liked me

From Renault they are sided but not from GFS. Renault have a different price for right and left and a different part number. Hope this helps.

    Re: GSF Parts

I know, 122 for one and 135 for the other, wierd. also the bushes for each side have different numbers but one side are not available, i guess this is because these are interchangeable.

    Re: GSF Parts

they still do R12006, but they have changed manufacturer.
they are mainly mecafilter (french) or mann (german) rather than purflux.

the mecafilter are slightly smaller than the OE purflux.
ELH4192 is the mecaflter part number
