Not sure which lamps to use but it is illegal to use HID bulbs in headlamps not designed for them.

    Re: Hid

lol thats the main thing even if you blind other drivers? bit of an ignorant perspective isn't it?

I was going to fit HID myself but after reading numerous thing on the net and seeing that video I didn't bother.

    Re: Hid

I have Bi-xenon HID 4300 but bulbs have small caps in front and reflect light to the back. In this case you do not have "hot spot" that blinds the other drivers. I regularly pass any headlight test since the bulbs are not too bright and beam height is adjusted properly.

    Re: Hid

The kits are not hard to fit

    1 wire to battery +
    1 wire to batter -
plug 1 side into original headlight plug
1 wire to earth on the body

then its a case of securing the wires

i changed mine on the 5 at 10pm an took about 20 mins

    Re: Hid

99.9% of kits are same Chinese questionable quality products (including mine) and these prices from the site are more than double of fair market price. I payed my H4 Bi-xenon kit around 70 quids. Still working without any problems for 5 months now.
