    fuel lines

    found a nice leak today on the 5, im going to need fuel lines(in and return), wheres the best place for them and a rough price

    For the hard lines you can use 'microbore' copper pipe from B&Q 5/16" (7.94mm). That should cost 25-30 quid a roll, which should be enough to do the who car.

    As for the rubber lines, any motor factor should have them. Generally they come in Carb and EFI versions. EFI being rated to a higher pressure. Go for the EFI version.

    Same as Woz, I've always used 8mm copper pipe and 8mm fuel injection hose.

    You would need a tool in order to fir connectors on the end of the pipes and hoses as well wouldn't you? I heard they can be pretty crap..

    you iz need to practice your bends on a 30mm socket in a vice,
    be careful an work the bend slowly so as not to get kinks..

    Can't you use some sort of olive washer combo instead of flaring tool? I need to do mine and that was what I was hoping!

    I haven't flared any of my pipes and haven't had any leaks so far.
