Here's another car that i bought the weekend. I bought it because it was going to be stripped and sold for parts which i thought was a waste. Needs a new head gasket and should be good to go.
Let me know what you think.

Could get good money for stripping that
However dont look too bad if its just the headgasket. Why has it got non-gt turbo or phase one suspension setup on front?
PM'd matey...
i dont see what the big thing is with stripping cars? if it carries on at the rate its going the r5 will be like mk1 escorts and the like and stupidly sort after. Get it sorted and back on the road looks nice and tidy.
Well, think of it this way matey.. to sacrifice a few sheds will keep a lot of nicer cars on the road! Ie, there are some parts that aren't very readily available or are too expensive to buy new.
Plus then there is money to be made out of it. Money makes the world go round.
Good point, I broke my last Renault 5 for spares and made way more than I bought the car for. This one is in much better condition, no rust anywhere and all the bodywork is in good condition. I just need to sort the interior out and change the head gasket and it should be ok.
Well that's it - I've got a GTT that I'm breaking and I've nearly made my money back on it, and still have quite a lot of stuff left!
I've also broke a campus and made like.. £50 on that, but that's because it would have failed it's MOT due to rust. I used the engine, and basically got a free engine and £50 profit from it. I still have a few bits from that left as well
