is it worth the work or not?

Grinder and an umbrella.
dont even consider it.
you will need to strengthen the body alot if you do that.
the convertibles are rare and have a whole host of things that are different.
rather than go convertable do a roof chop
I seem to remember a 5 being sold on eBay with a roof chop a while back.
roof chop could be interesting less work 2. have to look into it see if any body on here knows of one.
Stretch your back a bit and get the same effect.
better off witha Plein Air style thing then. - http://home.planet.nl/~oeffe035/plein_air.htm
i think the verts look real special!
and my fav which i think belongs to a member on here!!
I spoke to the guy with the red one but he was wanting way more than i was willing to pay.Best bet is going over to france then bringing it home and converting it to right hand drive.Their is very few in the uk and i have only seen one which was at nationals day.He showed me the extra stregthening and stuff.Would be cool if a company could convert them into cabs.
IMHO 5 convertable is ugly as hell. Only Opel Kadett can cope with it
I think the white one H269 UGC use to belong to Paul Orham and then another Paul before that, if so I know alot of history about that car as I had it for a while!
Should have kept it.

so are there a few available in france then?
Plein Air. Quality. Not seen one of those before. Notice the stealth sidey!
you can buy a renault 19 cab for less than £600 sheets these days.
Beautiful cars
