possible rear beam problems
ok, basically its a little strange, ive had 3 sets of wheels on my car so far, 13s, 15 inch turbines, and 14 inch steel wheels.
I have a problem where around once every 20 mins a loud humming/vibration shakes the car , and then goes away, its like a wheel severly rubbing but i cant work out what it is. This happens at any speed, usally driving straight on smooth roads.
The only thing i thought is that maybe the rear beam is on some kind bushes that have began to fail , allowing for movement.
Any ideas folks .

hmm not yet, is that a case of jacking the rear of the car up and then checking for any play .
