Oil filters!
What are people using and where are they getting them from?
I know the crossland ones are a big no no!
Same sort of question for spark plugs as well! What are people using now?

Dale big foot is you man on the filters:-
Think mann w85 seem to be easiest to find or the Bosch filter 0451103235. Then look at fram ph4546, purflux ls590 then OE. order in how easy to find

Re: Oil filters!
A lot of people seem to warn you off anything other than the OE Purflux LS590. Most people have never tried anything other than OE so aren't really qualified to comment (as I found!)
I would buy a Purflux LS218 personally. They are the filters superceeded from the original LS590. The last time I checked they were readily available from most places for next to nothing. I've been running one on road and track and everything has been fine - good oil pressure also.
I've not tried the Crossland filters but do have one in stock. Fram PH4546 would be a good call but as with most things GTT people are putting the prices up with them as they're no longer in production.

To make this hidden knowledge less hidden, I've thrown your comments together into an 'article'.
If there's anything to add to that then let me know

Re: Oil filters!
Purflux LS218 are readily available from GSF so be worth buying 4 or 5 for future use. They are the same as OE Clio 1.8 16v & R19 16v filters as I bought 3 of those for my valver in Renault boxes and have LS218 on them. Around the correct size, slightly taller than LS590 however have the correct oil pressure plate in the centre.
