    conversion details

After blowing the c1j up again, I've concluded it maybe time to carry out an upgrade of epic proportions to an f4r lump .
I was wondering if anyone had any step by step guides of what is needed for the conversion .I've had a look on here but to no real avail? I have a general idea whats involved and needed but wondered if anyone had any links to guides and company's for parts etc, eg oil feeds oil returns exhaust manifolds etc engine mounts ?
Any links or advise would be greatly received.

    Thanks in advance
    Danny.

You got anywhere with it yet fella? im looking into doing the same swap and found a thread on another forum which gave a brief parts list, im sure youve seen it. My question would be about mounts, which would you use? ive been told theres someone near warrington whose done the conversion maybe?

The mounts are the easy part you retain the GTT rear gearbox mount and the GTT gearbox front mount but you either need to source a GTX front engine metal bracket or modify the std C1J one with 2 extra holes to allo the engine to fit. In fact I think markey mark on here is making GTX engine mount's as they are no longer available from Renault.

There is a list on RTOC as to what's required the thread you are talking about is possible the one I done on the old renault5gtturbo.com website

I have bitten the bullet and in the process of rebuilding the c1j I have it in my head to get it sub 13 on the qt mile now lol. How that will end up is anyone's guess. I'd imagine come spring I will be revisiting this thread again mind

There's a nice C1J engine for sale in the for sale section, looks a good spec and not silly money.
