    pillar mount

    hi can any one help me ive been looking for a pillar mount for my r5 and carnt find any company that do them for r5, has any one got 1 they wanna sell or no a place i could get 1, i need x2 52mm holes,

    ive got a universal one i think its from auto gauge.
    fits pretty well.

    do the r5s have platic pillar cover thingys? if so why not make one, i made a few for a friend a while back, if you buy some cheap pillar pods, some fibreglass matt and resin , sand paper and p38 filler, and take your time its quite rewarding, and if you dont wish to spend all day getting a paint finish spot on with it, then just go get it flocked for £20 , may seem a long winded way but looks much ebtter than universal ones etc,

    that sound like hard work lol i think ill get a universal one for now as i need then in and up and running for me r&r day next week

    yeah thats it but for two gauges, ive got 1 coming from ebay, a universal one so we will c

    I made the one in the picture my self and got my local paint mixing company to make me up tin of renault plactic colour.

    Looks superb that , im using a twin universal one and it looks crap ! , the thing is too bloody wide for the R5 .......but its all i could get at the time

    ive got my universal one and well that aint gona fit so i might cut the two pods out and then mount them to the pillar and fiber glass them to make it look smoother, i better get buying the bits
