good evening all, i really need some help getting my car started, had it running for a couple of seconds by putting some fuel in the carb and bridging the aei relay.

Is your fuel pump working when you're cranking the engine?
It should be audible.
Also as daft as it sounds, have you got enough fuel in it? If there's less than 10 litres, sometimes the fuel won't spill from the reserve tank to the main. Might be worth chucking a couple of jerry cans of fuel in it to be sure.

Should be able to hear the fuel pump as soon as you turn the ignition on. I know mine is proper loud!
You can short the relay out (i cant remember the wires now, i found them last time by searching on here) and this should automatically kick the pump on. That may help narrow things down a bit.
I don't think the fuel pump operates when cranking the engine, I did bridge the fuel pump and then I get fuel to the carb. i can hear and feel the relay by the aei operate however I get no spark unless I bridge this relay. I changed the crank position sensor but it didn't do anything
