My company is now part of the Auto Finesse Approved Detailer Network so this was my first "official Auto Finesse detail".

A recent purchase for the owner. They said it was flawless when they bought it but after a few weeks a mass of swirls and imperfections started to work their way out from behind the fillers. Standard dealership prep.
So the car on arrival.
The wheels, tyres and arches were the first order of the day.
AF Imperial and a variety of brushes (the blue mitt is sitting on an arch brush. It's not a crazy mitt on a stick).
I got straight into it so pictures will follow at the end for the wheels.
The whole car was then rinsed off and a ampCitrus Pre-Wash was allowed to dwell while I got into the niggly bits.
Kick plates were treated with APC.
The car was then pressure rinsed down and washed with AF Lather and a Car Pro mitt.
This colour hides dirt pretty well for a dark shade of blue. This was after the top sections! Time for a rinse bucket change.
Full decon with AS Tardis, AF Iron Out and Bilt Hamber regular clay (I'm not sold on wash mitts. They're good but I find clay still gives the best results).
The car was then checked over with the halogen and LED lights.
Time to try some polish and pad combos. As always, starting with the least aggressive
I settles with Menz PG1000 on a Green Hexlogic pad via rotary gave me a good level of cut.
Passenger door before
After (pre-refinement)
There were numerous scratches around the car. You can see one here, just below the reflection of the number plate.
After
50/50 on the boot lid. This had been resprayed so a white Serious Performance pad and Sonax Perfect Finish were up to the job here
I alwas use this trick for polishing boot lids, bonnets and doors... A roll of tape under the catch and it keeps it propped up so you won't skip onto the next panel by accident. You can also take extra car with the edges of the next panel too.
The car was then refined with Sonax Perfect Finish and a white Serious Performance pad, and finally a wipe down with Car Pro Eraser.
Tyres dressed with Meg's Endurance.
Trims with Auto Finesse Revive.
Door Shuts polished and sealed in one with Tripple.
Glass polished with G|techniq G4 and sealed with G5.
Exhausts polished with Mercury.
The car was waxed with Auto Finesse Desire and Illusion for a fantastic, durable finish
(The lights are misted up inside, a replacement set were on order)
I didn't get as many photos as I would have liked but I'll get a more in depth write up next time... they're more fun to read
Thanks for reading
