I like this car very much
took the car up to Dynodaze rolling road at hinckley yesterday
I made 133bhp and 154 torque at 15 psi of my little t2.
I done 240 miles yesterday as i drove to London last night everything running sweet as a nut pulls nicely no overheating issues just i think i need to do a rear wheel bearing but that's it
here are some pictures
dre
nice clean car there boss
also good to see romils is still alive
Top update.
Car coming along nicely buddy.
lol cheers peeps yeah Romils car is a machine goes everywhere had a full workshop in the boot to
lol yep come to think of it yeah everywhere romil should be an aa man for us 5 drivers
over the past week i have done the rear wheel bearings and started to take my side skirts and arches off the car.
i did not know what to expect as we all know it hides alot but im happy with the car its solid just needs a Little welding which is getting done on the weekend. So i started to rub and treat any surface rust that i could see and started to underseal when happy
had to drill out the rivets i have some stainless nuts a bolts on order
arches all round are in great condition
this is the bit that needs welding going to cut this all out and re plate
the goods
rubbed down any surface rust and treated. zinc primer ed and undercoated
other side
this side had a little hole in the seal the rest is solid
going to strip the inside tomo and change my rear cards and take the seats and carpet up to
Nice work, looks in pretty good shape under the kit mate
Looks really well and tidy under the arches. Has been looked after in the past. What mm you lowered? As that's a really nice stance your car has.
cheers peeps well after finding some water in the car and the matrix heater leaking thought i go on the mission and rip the dash out looks like its been leaking for a good few years and rotted some of the floor to so my mate will be busy this weekend cutting and welding my car good old french motors sills and arches solid for once and now this glad i have done all this because once its done it will be a solid motor my Clio Williams was worse and saved that from getting scrapped and still looking mint now so let the restoration begin
where the leak was
leaking old matrix out
new matrix in
inner sills are solid
will update tomo not looking forward to putting all this dash back together looks a ****ing mess at the moment oh well got to be done

lol i am quite bad with things being in a good way
suppose its not that bad that leak has fooked things up but can easily be sorted
cheers mate look forward to it being put back together
Awesome car mate wish mine looked that good!!!
Top job
Cheers Greg the cutting has started
New poster! (less than 10 posts)
Really not to bad underneath, it's a credit to you, lovely looking motor.
chris
got alot done to the car nearly all back together and im happy that its solid again
this is where it leaked from the window where it was not sealed properly was running down and water was sitting behind and rotting
this is where the matrix heater was leaking to so if it was not for these fooking leaks car was solid
so the cutting and welding began
had to double skin this bit
rubbed down all the surface rust and treated
carpet cleaned
outside sills all done
drivers side
rubbed down all the floor of any surface rust and treated and painted plus i re undesealed the bottom of the car
scuttle panel all sorted and back together
got some phase 1 cards as my phase 2 cards started to sag

nice work mate. Looks very tidy
Cheers mate yeah I'm happy with it always scary taking the kit off
It's like Russian roulette
Lol yep I had a Clio Williams that was 8 years younger then this and that had quite a lot of rust, this has been looked after well solid little motor
And should last another couple of decades at least with your help mate.
I hope so mate this car is a keeper for me
same as that mate cant see me ever getting rid of mine.
You should cherish this one mate!
Looks great on them wheels in that colour.I put a France flag on my towing eye cover in 2008 and wonder if I started a trend? :-)
Managed to get a bit of time to put the seats back in the car and clean them to
Sorted my sills all sealed and protected ready for side skirts to go on
Just my side decals to put on now then the rest of the kit can go back on
That is immaculate, excellent work.
This is just awesome mate! Bringing it to National day?
Will be at FCS on show day mate will pop over to say hello I will be parked with the Clio wiliams lot, been a member for years and I owe a Williams to so if you see a light blue r5 in the middle of a few clios it's mine I see your a member on there anyway
Hope to catch up soon
yeah i'm a member on multiple boards would be nice to have a chat, although i'm affraid the weekend will be way to short to catch up with everyone including Cliosport
Got some stainless nuts bolts and washers for my skirts
Both skirts back on and I am going to attempt to put the decals on myself hate doing stuff like this
Had a go putting the first bit on, the door is going to be the worse part to do has to be trimmed to
Will be doing the rest later got to pop out for awhile was not that bad with the soapy water method
The interior looks great. Very impressed!!
Good that your having a pop at putting on the side decals too. I don't think I am that brave!!
Great work, one very fresh 5!
