    Kinugawa Turbos

    Hi all,

Has anyone had any first hand experience of Kinugawa Turbos? I am interested in one of their products but would be interested to know if they are cheap Chinese tat or good quality.

I know a few people who have brought from them and the quality looks very good. I know people say buy cheap pay twice but a lot of the things made for the expensive companies do come from china. You still have to be careful as some stuff is shocking.

I had a kinugawa rear housing on my gt3071r, worked well and the machining was easily a match for the garrett item.
I can't comment on their complete turbo'd but I should imagine it wouldn't be to difficult to fit genuine garrett bearings

Thanks guys, been reading up and they seem to have really mixed reviews.

But then, so do a lot of turbo manufacturers!

These guys are Japanese, not Chinese. They are one of the biggest after market suppliers in Japan. Quality should be very good.
