all electrical components that are low down, seat belt tensoners ect. connections on the loom will start to suffer from corosion. also the type of water will add to the problem. fresh or sal****er.

Re: flood damage on a car????
could cost that again to get it all right as salt water is conductive so any connections not fully dried out or had power in them at the time of flooding will be suffering. i know on my clio the ech (think thats its name but that is £400) module is in the passeger footwell and dose the alarm central locking ect.

Bottom really has fallen out of the 172/182 marketplace pretty much, sold me 172 cup last year with new clutch, full service history, and mot for £1050
