Mx anyone?
Just bought my very first bike after riding my mates crosser for the past few weeks. I'm only on a 2 stroke 125 and believe the engines to be mechano like to build? Any advice would be great! Cheers!!

Re: Mx anyone?
I've had a few crossers kx125,rm125,cr250 all 2 strokes and I prefer 125's for where I was using them always use good quality oil and do regular services ie gearbox oil and piston rings & spark plugs and they are easy enough to work on and great fun I gave up on them once the old bill stopped is riding on the quary and I've never fancied using the tracks I preferred wheelies to jumps lol

My advice would be to ride on proper tracks with marshalls and first aid.At some point you are going to fall off.It also gets you up to speed and makes you a better rider trying to keep up with people who are quicker.

As Casper says and wear proper kit and armour.
Be prepared to get hurt!

Also mate when you start doing jumps, tabletops etc,you need to keep the power on up the jump face on a two stroke,or just blip the throttle as you leave the slope.Dont just freewheel or it will end in tears.

Re: Mx anyone?
Got a kx125 2002, started riding my mates about 4 week ago. I've already fell off 8 times, getting the hang of hitting jumps and as you say Jon. The only proper fall i had was free wheeling on a jump haha
