What works best?
I have an alarm & a steering wheel lock. But im still not 100% happy with just that.
Anyone use anything else such as a fuel cut off switch? or a batt cut off switch?

Immobiliser, snap off steering wheel, battery cut, hidden push start button.. Can't think of any more.
A decent alarm/immobiliser & steering wheel lock i.e disclock will keep the chavs away.
So an immobiliseris a must?!
I just hate wiring on these cars!!!
H.T - leads = Good idea no scrote will want to open the bonnett whilst the alarm is going off!
put a switch in the orange wire(i think)for the fuel relay and then of course hide it!
ive got a concept 650 alarm with immobiliser anti anti hijack
a snap off steering wheel
a crooklock(one the gearstick and handbrake)
bulletproof/smash proof window film(military grade)
cctv at the window
and a big butcher knife behind the door
hahahaha
i cnt think of anymore
All good idears to slow them but if they want it they will have it away
Smashproof windows.. Now there's an idea (for my car)
anti smash windows are the best
pm me if u want some info on the good stuff
I have a clifford 500 and a tracker but would still like more security A friend of mine is a clamper so i have a perminant loan of a clamp if its sat for a period of time, Although not alot stops it getting lifted onto a flatbed
An awkward, sloped driveway stops it getting onto a flatbed. I can hardly get my motor on and off the drive, let alone anyone else, crane or no crane.
A well thought out DIY immobiliser has to be the best way to secure the car. I don't think it's a good move to list them here lads. If people have good ideas, share them via PM please.

Yeh defo a fair point!
Anyone has any D.I.Y immobiliser ideas let me know!
ground anchors are good too, just buy a good un , trackers are ace but exspensive, i use a chain through the steerin wheel twice an hook it around the cage.., security posts are good , behind a garage door, err theres heaps of stuff out there , i also use a clutch claw that i got cheap off the web.
Remove the rota arm put the Dizzy cap back on. All looks right but no spark. A chap near me locks his sports car in a shipping container whan not in use.

this is what i was considering last year but it was £50 a month for a new container stored in a yard...just never really chased it up
a handy little one is to take the wheels off, and the engine out. Nice and simple!
Misky. I no longer need to send you a PM.

Fanks Bill, lol
