they may not pop as much on a tungy as the paint is more of a pearl on westys i belive. but wow they look gooooooooooooooooood!!!!!!!!!!!!
just saw this... dont look to bad to be honest they was gonna be white on mine at one point... My colour is darker than tungy more greyer if that makes sense.. aint pearl though that might be the lighting in the photos... Its just got a lot of metallic in the paint proper pops in the sun

Im going to run the 195/45s off my voodoos.
Just need to shop the o.e. deco's stickers on the sides and I reckon it could add slick contrast to it along with the gold?

Wheels are back from the blasters, no nasty surprises so on to prep for paint.
Very happy with the finish straight from blasting
Also picked up the one missing centre cap from Renault.

Decided against the polished lip because i can't be arsed to polish them every five mins
Delicious. You can't go wrong with Williams wheels or Turbines on a GTT IMO
And here's me thinking that polishing the lip was really going to marry the wheels to the car!

Sometimes the cost of doing something outweighs the benefit, in this case at £30+vat per wheel i decided to paint them

Willys are now finished and im waiting for some new wheel nuts to arrive before i fit them.
I'll do a proper update next week once ive got them on and given the 5 a proper clean.
Sorry for more pics of just the wheels, but im quite pleased with how they have come out for a home refurb and NO i shouldn't have polished the lips
