where from, ebay, mike, bob? Somewhere else?
haha i did think afterwards "will anybody know what the hell that pic is?"
I bought them off ebay for £10 each and £5 postage... just a regular ebayer... il let you know how well they fit and can give you the persons user name if you need any they are usually more expensive from cgb etc
its amazing how soft the floor was... had to cut right up to here to find any decent metal to weld to...
Rear bumper is back on, bonnet back on and aligned, all welding is now done (thank the lord ) all thats left is throttle cable, finish undersealing, clean and fit interior.. car on road 1st April as planned
Looks good mate i hate welding especially cars loll

Those jacking points are almost a carbon copy of what mine were like last year! Fred Flintstone would have been proud of that hole that's for sure
I to was amazed how the metal actually looked ok until you touched it and it just fell apart 20+ years of rain mud and salt had defiantly taken it's toll.
Good work
had some spare time today between mot testing to sort the drivers bolsters out...
ok so as mentioned before they are a little on the large size, i decided not to trim them and just ram em home its something i can sort later, for now it'l do. (cant be any worse than before)
seats are guna be deep clensed next before fitting
How did you get the bolster in? Did you take the pocket completely off or just the one side?
flipped the seat upside down, snipped the relivant metal rings off, ripped the whole bolster off. rammed new bolster into seat material, flip seat round, ram bolster into postion... flip it back over, pull the inner side of the bolster material rod/bar with some long nosed pliers and tie wrap were the old metal rings used to be... then the outer bolster bar/rod, put a long screw driver through it, and pry it round till the bar/rod sits under the metal frame like it used to. I am ruthless, if it breaks it breaks attitude, so if your material is weak you'l defo need to take more care than me
thought id give baj her first bit of fresh air of 2013
