But Ross started the thread about this (https://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthread.php?t=31609) a week before the infamous 'Possible events, have your say' thread, so aforementioned complainers must've been aware of this/a Pod event in the making.

Anyway, it doesn't matter, and not worth another thread going to pot.

Good on ya's for sorting this event for the club. Definitely what's needed

im glad ross spotted the event in the 1st place but obviously as there was no mention of a frog pod this year and loads of people were going to the retro meet i thought it was a good idea to make this a unofficial pod day as titled but obviously all we all want is to have a great day and meet lots of members and peeps oh and also to have a good blast too

Na mate I won't be showing it, I'll show people around that want a peek, but that's about it. It's getting tuned by the local guru at the moment, can't wait to see how it looks/goes after he's tinkered with it.

Be hard for me to be away from work for more than a day though :/

Yea you got to put it on display tho mate it looks really good why not people wont care about all the rust (only joking) if mines done i will it will probably burst into flames with all the wiring problems i have had and don't worry bout work your the boss you can do what you want you cant sack yourself for having a couple of days off

I'm not gonna show it dude, there's always someone that won't like it etc. Plus tomtom's raider will get all the attention anyway lol. That car is unbelievably good. Once he fits his interior that's a show winner. Ill bring the car with me, show u n lee around it n people that are interested.

God that was hard work making sense of this thread after waking up from night work, I will keep me eye out for the tickets too come out on sale and will purchase straight away. I'm really keen to have my marmite car on show and meet the members on here if she's running well I'll take it up the strip, I'll be happy with a sub 20
