    Actuator adjustment

    Hi guys,
I finally got an afternoon to work on the car today, my previous actuator would only hold 15psi of boost so I got myself a Garrett -31.
When I fitted it I noticed the bar was only threaded part way down, I've bolted it on and pre-loaded as far as I could go, to the end of the thread. Perhaps about an inch or just under on the bar.
Out on the road I'm only achieving 10psi so its a ball-ache job of sorting another bracket I suppose.

My question, how much more will I need to go to reach 20psi or so? I don't want to sort another bracket and find out it still isn't enough, the other option is a bleed I suppose but I was wanting to avoid this as I believe they can increase lag?

Anyway any help will be appreciated as always.

    Jack.

Ps I'll upload a pic in a bit so you can see where it's at.

    Re: Actuator adjustment

your best saving up and getting a dual port controller, will give you so much more control ,and will stop wastegate spring cracking open before hitting pre set limit which in tern should give you better response and more bhp per psi
