im after a pair of early door hinges, the bits the weld to the body, i dont have enough meat on mine to drill out and fit a bigger pin, must be either new, or have zero play in them, any ideas, renault dont even list the early type

There is loads of meat left there! Drill it out. Sleeve it. Insert new pin.

Im with alastair here, drill and shim. It will be fine
cut one off a campus in a scrappy then mate.
I can cut some off an old shell if still needed.
