I just bought mine and it said 40 units available, I'd say 39 now
Spot on Dave
Sound, thanks guys. See you all in the strip.
Im buying my ticket on payday. The next couple of weeks will be spent tuning the van in preperation
Any plans for a new pb Brigsy??
Hi, i have a friend (who used to be a member on here actually), is there a non member price for this event..
I need to put half of my interior back in after the huge amount of welding that I have just had done, then mot and tax it, then see how my new front mount performs up at 24lb boost, would like to try and push a few more psi through it but not sure if i will have the time before pod. Might be a case of trying it on the day
I'm actually looking more forward to driving it down as it's been almost 9 months since i drove it properly on the road, slightly concerned about breaking it at pod tho, i had the luxury of a recovery truck last year.......and in the end it was a good job i did as the oil feed adaptor on the turbo snapped whilst i was putting some heat in the tyres.
I will buy my ticket once mr MOT man gives me the thumbs up for another 12 months.
take some rope and im sure we can find somebody to tow you to tesco should the worst happen
Shame I have had my drivers floorpan welded up, I could of "Fred flinstoned" it to tescos!

As I am planning on going down on the Saturday and camping out, I have been looking at the vw event that's on that weekend.
Looks to be a large event and if you want to camp it says you need to buy a weekend ticket @£32 advanced price plus booking fee! you can buy a day ticket for £15 but you will only be allowed to park in the day visitors car park.
don't really fancy paying £32 just to camp out in preperation for the test and tune day the day after, I won't be arriving untill circa 4pm anyway.
I don't expect to camp out for free, so was wondering if anything can be sorted for rtoc to get in on Saturday with just a camping ticket? It may be a long shot I know and looking at the threads so far not that many people want to camp anyway.
Not possible I'm afraid .The VW thing will be ticketed as they see fit and in no way related .
We have just bought a large number of tickets for the Sunday to reserve places
Thought it was a long shot, not even sure if it's £32 per person or per car, either way bit on the extortionate side seen as we are coming down in three cars, and only camping for the day after! Looks like it will be an early start on the Sunday and no camping.
Either that or just pitch up in one of the feilds close by
I would of thought that if you show up late sat night, say 10pm they'll only charge you for camping? Best give them a ring i'd say.
10Pm is a bit late! Can't have the best of both worlds I suppose, my bro has just rang Santa Pod and they said we need to speak to the people who ticket the vw show as the ticketing is down to them.
Another option is maybe a different campsite not to far away from pod, I will have a look for something today when I get 5 Mins.
Or could just purchase a full weekend ticket and go on the friday and make full use of all the entertainment.
Childcare for me tho is an issue, we were lucky enough to get the Saturday/Sunday in the first place! Can't imagine the grampys being that impressed with another day/night of childcare
No camping the night before has killed the weekend for me.
But you only stayed 1 night a Blyton???? Sorry that should read 'your misses only let you stay 1 night at Blyton'
.................................................. .............................. .................................................. ..........................................
hahaha
My Missus let me stay 2. Dangerous daves mum had the second night
What about this place
6.1 Miles from pod according to route planner
Toilets
Showers
£12 On the day or £10 if booked and pre paid in advance

Cheeky vw *****
so then people how many of us rtoc lot are actually attending this and who is running on track?
I shall be going with the missus and two kids but just to watch looking forward to it hope theres a good turn out
im defo going! but not running down the quarter. my five isnt setup propperly. wanted to attend in the five. but it will be parked in the field shame theres not an rtoc stand or summin
I'm planning on going and running, as is my bro, both our better halfs should also be in attendance, although my mrs was having a bit of a moan about driving all that way in my other car, i thought it would be a good idea to have a "support vehicle"
basically somewhere i can Wang all the heavy gear like tents ECT so the five can stay nice and light for the journey down.
I have amazingly run into an issue with my car also, a carb related problem, I'm hoping with the aid of a rebuild kit i can build one good carb out of all my spares, fingers crossed it fuels the same as the one that's gone tits up as i had it bang on
Should the worst happen i will still be down to act as pit crew for my bro.
regards camping, would they not allow you camp in the field opposite the main entrance? tis the normal place to camp if your turned up thursday for an event that opened on fri 9am? dont usually charge as its not within the grounds and due to low numbers i cant see it being a problem, dont even think its monitered? you would miss out on the vw fun but least you'd be there first thing. gotta be worth a call since there's been a good few tickets bought by the club?
Cumon guys, need to sort somthing camping wise,
I'll be coming up sunday morning now, bit of a shame the camping is so expensive but if thats what Pod are saying don't know if we can do much about it
Right guys .
I've just spoken to the VW Action guys and struck deal .You need a ticket to get in to the event Saturday evening as it is marshaled by the VW people not Pod .
We can camp up next to the strip somewhere and the cost will be 7.50 per person .This will get you into the event itself so you can go and see all the stuff they have laid on as well ,Boooze ,birds and boogie
I need a rough idea of numbers please asap .The club will then buy X amount of tickets to be posted to those wanting to camp Sat night .
Paypal to
shop@rtoc.org
Please include full details ,Name ,address ,forum name and number of tickets required .Remember price is per person .
I want to get this paid for Monday 20th so as to give time for them to post to me and me to you so please can we have a speedy response
Does that mean camping is now £22.50?
Top darts Clee!!
I will be needing two tickets, one for me and my good lady, cheers
I would like 3mate please.
Is it including the £15 entry, or am I getting confused
Ahh I see ...yes .....Just double checked .
Right ,the price per person will be 15 for entry and camping Saturday night .The guy running the VW event has hired it for the whole weekend so effectively you get free camping
How many that are running are wanting to camp Saturday ? We have only sold 4 tickets so far though
You will need a VW event ticket to get in as well as the test and tune tickets if you are planning on camping Saturday night .
This is getting complicated .........It's because the VW guys have POD for the whole weekend ....
Test and tune runners arriving Saturday will need a VW action ticket to get in .
Good work Clee
So we have 4 days to decide whether we can make the camping other wise we have to pay full price on the gate.
I might even camp this year lol
Someone may have to adopt me though as not sure Adam can make it Sat night due to his mates birthday celebrations that night
so if we turn up on sunday and are just spectating its £15 per person i thought it was £10 can someone let me know one or the other thanx
i'm coming sunday morning and running
thanx bigfoot thats apprec hopefully weathers good for it
