Bangs ang Sqeeking

Hi all,

Quick one, my 5 has developed a sqeek from front right wheel area.
This noise gets louder when i brake, pads?.


When i go over a hole or up a small kerb i get a bang / knocking from the same corner.

I also hear a noise when turning at a slow speed.


When i lift off the clutch i get another clunk as it engages.


There are alot of cobbles around hear, i have to crawl for fear of my car falling apart.




While im at it Ted mentioned that my breather hose that comes from the sump should`nt be blocked up, my breather goes from rocker to catch tank.
Should i unblock the pipe and put a lil filter on it?.

Sounds like a wheel bearing, i'd jack up the corner, get the wheel off and have a nose. Check for play, you'll be able to check the condition of your discs and pads at the same time.

Check your engine mounts haven't worked a little loose
