So, here we go again. RWD, Rear engined 5GTT.

    Yesterday.

    Fixed broken drivers window winder

Decided it needs a new drivers door, as the window frame isnt right and thats why the winder broke as its hard to close properly

Discovered there's no heater matrix plumbed in. Not impressed, soon be fixing that!

Changed the header tank back to a Renault one

Ran it up, made sure it didnt overheat and the fan works

Removed 'Soft Feel' fork conversion (Bodge)

WD'd the mega-stiff throttle cable and adjusted it. Its also a bodge so i'll be finding a new one that isn't joined together with bloody chocolate blocks!

Did a lights check, and other MOT-required ancillaries. Seems to have the requirements.

Quick cheeky drive up the road to make sure it functions enough to get to the MOT

    MOT today, 12:30.....

Thats what i use dave, made by the same company that did my gear linkage.
Theyre the same company that did the gear linkage for the new ford gt40.
It can be cut to length to suit.

    Good luck with the mot.

    Cheers matey.

All it needs is the CO sorting out (Scoff: Answer your phone lol!) and the O/S handbrake mechanism isnt working for some reason. Footbrake is fine though.

However, after driving it today, and summing it up against the 21, 172, and Fuego i've decided it's really not the car for me and it's gonna be sold on. Shortest project ever! lol!!
