If your painting over the old paint just use something around a 1200 w&d to remove any imperfections. Then get some good light coats of paint on. Try not hold the can/gun too close to avoid runs & keep away from any areas where dust/leaves etc will blow onto your work. Most of the hard work is in the lacquering. Bite the bullet and you will be fine if you take time.
Where abouts could i find out what colour code my car is, because i might buy the paint before hand in litres. I wouldn't spray the car myself, best to let someone do it who can.
Im after maybe a colour code booklet or something.

If its a standard colour, it'll be stamped on the VIN plate... the bodyshop will be able to sort out the correct colour from the code.
Cheers boys, appreciated
