i really enjoy watching these clips, keep it up
Nice clips Dave. Ah Lydden, my old stomping ground..........
When I'm back off Holiday, I'll do my best to get to Lydden nice and early! See if we can do something......
Lydden is owned by Maclaren (f1 geezers), the control of the circuit has been handed to Pat Doran (Rallycross god), and is run by his daughter......Trackday prices are higher now due to better facilities, I think the Grandstand is a permanent fixtire now, and the paddock is tarmac not gravel too.......much better for my slicks!!
It is a loverly technical track, and is a natural bowl so you can see all the way round as a spectator......nice. Also a great drivers track, with an even more 'nasty if you get it wrong' paddock bend!!!
Matt5
Looking good clarky, car sounds sweet as. How is the championship going for ya?

Thanks Matt, be good to meet up and have a good look over the car,
looking forward the next round already.
Have a good holiday, speak soon
Hi Gio, been up and down season with a few problems with car, but got sorted now and was good at Lydden.
Currently third in the championship with two rounds (4 races) left, Lydden and Brands.
your too modest Clarky. I see from Autosport that you were second in the second race. Very well done it what was clearly very treacherous conditions. Good job you wernt in a Ferrari!
Even so the back end of your car looks very skitish. There is one right hander where you go over a brow that its seems over eager to catch you out. I suppose it must be unweighted.
Keep up the good work
Russell
Hi Russ, yeah the right hander you mention is called Pilgrims and has a bit standing water as its like a bowl there.
second race was better as was on the wets and car was more stable, but your right as in treacherous conditions. Cant wait to get the Gripper, on order, still waiting though.
Its all good fun and enjoying it, Hows things with the new set up with the car?
