oil cooler sandwich plate thickness

Hello,

Trying to work out what my best option is for an oil cooler... Due to space restrictions I've been looking at a remote filter setup with oilcooler and remote thermostat... But its getting expensive!

Looking at the space I might be able to fit a std oilcooler with the thermostat built into the sandwich plate... But before I part with my hard earned cash can anyone measure the thickness of their sandwich plate so I can see if it'll fit?

Doesn't need to be overly accurate, a tape measure reading will do...

Can anyone help?
