    A bit of a change

Well it wasn't easy watching Penfold driving off in the Ph1 on Sunday, but I needed a newer car. So I've gone a bought a clio 182 , one lady owner from new, with a massive service history file. It hasn't got a turbo but atleast its a Renault Sport

    Looks good mate.

You can easily turbo it at a later date

At 1st I didn't like my 172 but the more I drive it though, the better it feels, still think it needs something to loose that 'lag' low down you get, once it's up in the revs it's a fun car.
Would love a low pressure turbo conversion on it but I think it would eat boxes.

Tis a nice Clio, but for me (and this is my opinion) prefer them with the Cup pack with the spoiler and front splitter option. Visually they look better with them both fitted. Mine has both cup pack options (60mm hub spacing) the only downer having the cup suspension is a limited choice in aftermarket suspension.... Although mine did come already fitted with GAZ coilovers

Even so a great car to drive straight out the box........ Which hopefully i'll soon find out when it's back on the road Enjoy

What colour is the 182 Ben? Have to admit yeah the phase 1 Clio 172 does feel more raw and willing, maybe as they're lighter and cable throttle not the fly by wire?
