I stumbled across an old cd today, and found it to contain loads of photos of old rtoc meets. Here's some from a Santa Pod RWYB event in 2002 - Back when flip paints, and AJ bumpers seemed to be the rage . How many cars do you recognise?

Here's a good one, from 2002. This was the sort of turnout we'd get at a normal RWYB day at the 'pod. It's probably not far off the amount of cars as we get at our National Day these days

How about some pics of the Renault 5 30 year celebration race, at Thruxton, in 2004. The first time a lot of members were introduced to the Renault 5 Coupe. Now a number of these actual cars are owned by members of this club

All seems like yesterday doesn't it Love the old pictures bill. I was hoping to see some 2001/2002 pictures of my black car, which pre-dates the silver rear engine, possibly only ever pictured back then at moggys RR in wrexham or trax though, when it used to be a tidy daily

I haven't got any pre 2002 pics . I remember you turning up to a Southend meet in your black one. I still remember how shocked I was when I asked everyone who was meeting up at South Mimms to pm me, and you did, saying you were coming down from way up North

I've got some pics of your silver one from Trax, which I think was the first 'major' event that you took it to.

I can't believe how quickly the years have gone by. They were great times for sure though.

Yeah, southend I remember fitting a rear screen to marts raider by the side of the road with just a screwdriver and getting home at about 4am. Back when petrol prices didn't prohibit random trips like that

Another day, another event. This time, Trax 2003 - The event where Scoff's rear engine'd gtt made it's first appearance:

National Day 2003, at Santa Pod. I'm sure this was the year when we had the biggest convoy I've been part of. IIRC, we had just short of 50 Renault Turbos meet at South Mimms Services, and go up the M1 together

























































And who can forget, this was the year when Sparkie was changing pistons in his 5, in the middle of the campsite

It's funny how when you always reminiss you think that it was always sunnier when you were younger.... well if you look at those pictures it backs you up?! Looked like the sun was always out at an RTOC event!!

I was there in my green 200sx at EP event in 2003. You can see it parked up in the background on the pic that Mart posted where he was pointing out that grey jumper. Lol.

No pics of me though. Probably for the best. I don't want to be reminded how much more hair I had back then.
