    Rear axle brake pipe

Guys, need to replace the brake pipe which runs from the O/S/R brake caliper to a flexi hose near the centre of the axle. Is it possible to buy this pre-formed/bolt-on from Renault or will I need to fabricate/pay someone else to fabricate it for me?

    Ben

Dead easy, run a piece of string along the length of the brakepipe to give you an idea of the length you need. Remove the old pipe and get your motorfacters to make you up a new pipe....Id get it ever so slightly longer than the old one just to be safe........ ( dont forget to show / tell them what fittings you need on the end......Then just gently bend the new pipe to the shape of the old one and replace it

As has been said above it's fairly straight forward If the old unions are being stubbern don't go mad (like me) and round them off, first try some duck oil then if your still not having any joy some heat should do the trick, just be carefull to not burn anything like the rubber seals on the calipers
