    Vibration

    Hi Folks ,

I have a really bad teeth rattling vibration on the car at 2200 revs. Its irrespective of speed. I can use the choke and get it to 2200 rpm or be going down the road in 4th.

It rattles the whole car , especially the exhuast. I get no "rattle feedback" through the steering wheel or the pedals so I dont think anything is fouling.

I have crawled all over the car but cant seem to find the obvious.

    Can you help ?

Rear engine mount might be loose or broken, better yet check all the engine mounts

    Re: Vibration

    double check just incase.

If all the mounts are fine, check there all tight to the engine aswell as the subframe.

Passenger driveshaft cv in good condition, had 1 of mine play up caused a vibration at 2k

    Re: Vibration

If it's relative to engine speed and not wheel speed then surely it can only be something bolted to the engine causing it...
