looks good mate
Done a few small jobs on the 5 today:
- Fitted un-painted gutter strips (old ones were a bit knackered - had a few cracks and scrubs on them)
- Fitted standard steering wheel with paint removed, and polished boss
- Fitted parcel shelf / associated plastics
- Fitted Renault badge
- Fitted new number plates (old ones were knackered)
- Gave it a good clean

Also.. this is the ride height after lowering the torsion bar. Not gone down much I know, but I'm not a big ridiculously low look (sorry Spooky )
looks good mate, nice and clean
Looking good Olly!
Nothing particularly amazing - just sorted an issue with the 5 today... Fuel pump relay wasn't connected properly! Went for a short drive and my friend took some photo's for me
some fresh dark colour wheels and a play about with teh stance and i thnk this car will be brilliant.
nce bud. Someone must be flush a full tank of juice jesus! Lol
Is it me or does it looke like a toy in two of those pictures?
Love the colour mate and I think the wheels really suit it top stuff did the car ever come from redhill in surrey as the reg looks very familiar to the one a friend of mine had on his red 5
Cheers Phil!
Not sure. I bought it from CGB. Bought it with very little service history, so I couldn't tell you where it came from before there.
Bought a couple of stickers:

Also buying some Turbines off Brigsy. Should look good, and should sit in the arches better so I can lower it a little more
Turbines will look great mate. The stickers are pure tat!
aiii, u should of gone for the "my other rides your daughter/sister/mum" sticker
New alloys fitted... Think they break it up a bit more. It's a very modern colour, and the wheels were a bit too modern and in your face I think, so going to try and tone it down a bit.
Next jobs are:
Fit front grille badge
Fit spoiler
Fit rear badges
I'd also like a new drivers side door (current one doesn't fit very well.. a new door was used when the car was painted, but it doesn't seem to fit very well.. maybe a patent part?) but that would mean painting it, and there are a few other bits I'd like to get painted, so think I'll wait and save a bit of cash and get it all done together
Looks loads better with the dark turbines on, I remember being seventeen and wanting to paint my gtt nuvola blue with graphite wheels.
Nice work
what do you mean the door doesn't fit very well? personally i'd play about with the hinge side of things again first, or latch. It might be a ballache but if you buy a new door will be left with the exact same problem, only this time it will probably need painting blending into wings and rear quarter depending on if you've got the exact same paint that was used to paint the car, even then its likely.... I bought 2x brand new doors for my black 5 in november so i'll get the recent prices later also..

I know what you mean mate, but the door I had before the paint job fitted spot on. It's really close at the bottom of the door, on the hinge end, and it scrapes if any grit gets inbetween the sill and the door. Also, you can see where the profile of the door should continue into the wing, it's wonky. The other side (which is the original door) is spot on. I don't have any adjustment in the hinges either.
I think it's a pattern part, and that's why it doesn't fit very well
its suprising the diffrence a set of wheels make
i like it
Just been for the first proper spin since I fixed the fuel pump relay issue, and I'm so happy with the stage I've got the car to. I used to hate driving it, but I feel a lot happier now it's all coming together. Can't believe I considered selling it
I am mate! PM coming your way
What colour is the car mate?
looks very simular to mine.
How much better does it look now with them rims.
It's citroën bleu lucia mate
Looks lush mate good work
i LOVE this car! looking 4ward to seeing it in the flesh on sat
Cheers man.. I look forward to seeing yours
Has this GTT your breaking got clear fogs?
Looking much better, was not a fan of your other wheels, turbines will always look good on a 5 gtt.
Fit some fog lights, rear spoiler and original badges and it will be looking great.
I think you should have left the triangular sections on the wing mirrors standard, just me but i don't like them colour coded.
Are you going to fit some side stickers?
Keep it up
I think I should have too. At the time, I had the gutter strips colour coded also, but I've gone off that idea, and since gone back to non-colour coded strips. If I get any more paintwork done in the future, I'll probably get some mirrors done but leave the base plates grey plastic.
looking good bric! i may pop down the unit on sat if i get time. be good to see this in the metal
