I have a EP Motor sport group A carb with a 1.35 main with the a/c and 1st stage changed aroundi been told its not igood idea with those jets in there. Whats the best spec for group A for 18psi.

carbs /fueling can vary so much from engine to engine , you have a afr meter, buy some micro drill bits and try adjust the first /second stage jets / and air corrector. leave the main as it is for the mo. (dont go mad on the first/second jets as once there drilled there drilled,theres no going back) solder doesnt hold,and ends up blocking jets
also try a standard carb, with standard venturi, you dont need a grp a carb for 18 psi
Hoy the grp a in the bin and use stock venturi mate
Soldered up jets are fine if you do them properly, my air corrector has been soldered up for years with no probs..
