Just finished cambelt service and clutch on V6 no.243 and noticed that the +'ve main lead to the starter/alternator had popped out of its clip and was resting on the front manifold heatshield and melting through. It is the first time we've seen this, but its worth having a quick check. From the back of the car in the engine bay its in the center by the front seats, directly down from the oil filler cap.
