These were the ones Duncan Grier had designed and produced for phase 2's.
Were they adjustable for camber or castor?
I've not seen them but they might be what I need, has anyone got some photos of them please?

give me a minute and il pop in the garage, got the designs too
chop chop...i want some of this action as im going custom all round
Be willing to sell for the right price
these need reproducing.
Someone should see about getting these made for R5 fitment
i thought the ones posted above are for a ph1?
i didnt think they fitted a ph2?
i thought the 1s that were made for the ph2 were in 2 parts,
1 kidney shaped like the std mount, and another smaller round adjustable like in the pics above.
im not sure if theyre great anyway as you cant just adjust the camber like you can pon the blue 1s shown above.
i will be fitting something like those to mine eventually as the std top mounts are the only part left on my car that allows a bit of movement but not adjustment. lol
I'm sure the eccentric design does not allow camber to change without affecting castor.
I'd be more interested in a design that allows an adjustment of camber and castor seperately.
how much for them, or even the blueprints and i can get myself some made.
I will speak to AST as they will be building my next set of coilovers for a potential adjustable top mount.
I'll discuss a group buy too.
Minty, what have you got fitted to the VAG 5?
The custom mounts you have fitted are the ones Lewis wants pictures and drawings for.
Check DK Developments build thread, he got the 1st 1s made and has a load of pics on his thread. I think the name of the company who made em is there aswell.
See the link.

This is a firm near me who make a standard fit top mount and an adjustable eliptical top mount for the phase 2. Both with spherical bearings. I have used both and they didnt let me down.
again the compbrake/TAS mounts are not the same as the ones danny had made.
i looked through his thread and cant find the pic/details so they must have been on the old site.
might be worth emailing him
and i found that you can use a std top mount bearing as a cup, it fits perfectly on the top of the spring and gives a nice flat surface for the mount to sit against.
I used them with coil overs
The ones in the photo are the ones I have used. You get an alloy plate that replicates the shape of the standard mount and then there is the option of 2 inner plates one with the bearing in the standard position and an eliptical one that you can rotate to increase camber and castor. The spring cup I think was made by the guy who originaly fitted my coil overs. I did have a photo of that on the old site.
doesn't one put silents blocks between the cup and the shock absorber?
would any type of threaded compound go with this cup? http://compbrake.co.uk/shop/product_...roducts_id=244
I ask because I have this: http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=34
afflicted for all these questions, but I would not like to buy without knowing!!
How many people would be intrested in buying a pair of top mounts?
I would but can these be used to reduce negative camber and if so by how much?
I've fitted all the Clio Williams front track parts to my 5 so now have shed loads of negative camber that I need to reduce. An adjustable top mount would be ideal as I can retain the use of standard shock mounts and make my adjustment at the top of the turret, if not I might have to get custom made shocks with a longer bracket where they fix to the hub carrier.
From the looks of things they might work, but wether it's enough adjustment for what I need, that why I was hoping to get a look at the drawings...

y' aura t' il une commande groupé bientôt ?
it there ace already about ten French interested by these cup!
will y' have to you it an order grouped soon ?
Can anyone get a pic of a Renault 5 GT Turbo Ph2 Suspension top mount please?
Save your money they are no good for phase 2 coilovers, I and Gary (SCHWARTZ) can both confirm that. You need the phase 1 coilovers hence my comment in the group buy thread.
You'll end up with camber like this
You may be thinking rotate the 'adjustable' mount to remove said camber, think again as it fouls on the strut top
Or alternatively just fit a standard setup
Hi tif,
Can you get any more pics of a standard Ph2 top mount? Compubrake say they might be able to get some made up
Ian
tiff_lee please check for PM...
These are phase 2
it's just an unnecessary expense when phase 1 items are on the shelf already, just get phase 1 shocks.
Although that said unless you remove some material from the the top mount part on the chassis it will foul as indicated in my picture above, unless you can get the offset/eccentric mounts which are reversed so the protruding part of the mount is underneath with the circlip, like this but eccentric
http://www.compbrake.co.uk/Suspensio.../prod_950.html
thats brill! many thanks! If i can get some of these made up would there be any interest in them? especially seeing as the standard items are discontinued?
Lee, my camber seemed to be even worse with those adj topmounts.
Imo stick with the standard setup for the car. If you want to fit valver or Willy swing arms drill new holes in the shock tower nearer the wings. If you have camber probs with the standard set up something is wrong so sort that
If you got the reversed style mounts you would get a full range of use with the adjustment but the only other problem is that the phase 2 shocks bolt on off centre to start. Phase 1 plus reversed mount would be a win (phase 1's bolt in the centre of the mount) , independently adjustable camber and castor mounts would be better but then you can't have everything.
