    Reverse Switch Fitting

    Quick question for you all!

Do I need to drain the Gearbox oil to fit a new Reverse Switch???

I hope not but guess I do have to

Unless you can take old one out and put new one in quickly, may drop abit of oil on your hand

    Exactly what Sparkie said

I've never had to drain the 'box - As has been said, jack the nearside up as high as possible, then quickly swap over the switches.

You'll probably get away without having to top up the 'box oil as well.

but whatever you do, make sure you use a correct fitting spanner, and dont do it up too tight, as you will crack the box...errrr like i did.
