Just got back from the Ace!

Just got in. The traffic wasn't too bad either way from here, just a broken lorry going home. Only 2 of the local 5's made it but we still had fun.
It was cool to have a good natter, and a burger and hot chocolates :ho:

But what was with the gritter trucks backing up to spray all the cars

just got in too, 4 1/2 hours to get down there but only 2 to get back, M11 was an absolute arse on the way down there had to follow the rumblestrip for hard shoulder at 25mph but made it there and back safe and was good to meet some new faces

glad you got back ok mate,was glad to put a few more faces to names too,shame a few more didnt turn up but i think this meet was dominated by the conditions,still realy enjoyed it and look forward to the next one

I should of left when you lot did, I sat on the M1 for megger hours, first the lorry then some mad man !

Good night had by all though, well worth the cold feet and being pulled over by the old bill for the first time in about 10 years to just to ask me if the car was mine !

I'm gutted i missed this, we sat in massive traffic trying to get on the M1 at Junction 12.....We were not moving and neither was the M1, We had a slight moment where we mounted a kerb and smashed my brothers mint bumber and dented a wheel.

(decided to call it quits..)

Cant wait for this white **** to go away, give us dry roads back.

I'll make it to the ace soon.

Getting the fibreglass out along with the ally welder.....

Made it home for just after 2 o'clock there was more snow the further South I went. Great to see everyone. Have A Very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

Im glad to hear all of you that came from far made it home in one piece!!

Those that i didnt have the oppertunity to chat to, next time for sure: i can be a bit shy on 1st dates!! lol but those that i did, nice meeting you.
Hopefully i'll have my 5 for one in the near future, watch this space

Around 7 gtt's, one Renault 11. A turbo van and lots of members without 5's with them. Foods ok nothing great but it's indoors and warm.
