Hurry up mate upload pics
ok here are the pics of just some of the carbon i have had made for the interior these are the rear quarter panels and the front door cards i have had them made different to the standard ones you can buy as these will cover the whole of the door rather than missing out the front panel around the door strip at the bottom

thanks mate i had my interior panels made up by perfomance trim and as i had ordered a few quids worth they done ne a good deal on a metre squared section mate if you need any ask for mike he is really helpful i have the number if you ever need it mate
Thanks phil, but won't be needing till next year, looked at their website and their products look realy good, keep up the good work.
Cheers Mate Will Do
As said yesturday, I doubted the gauges etc at first.. now seeing it comming together it looks really really smart. Individual ideas and seeing it through... amzazing darts mate
Really good to see someone doing some pretty handy bodywork / welding to a 5 rather than just scrapping. Ive seen 5`s scrapped with ALOT less rust than that
cheers mate alot of people tried to tell me to scrap the car and put a new shell on but i cant see the point in replacing a bad shell with another around the same age and i didnt want to put a campus shell on either i have had this car for years and it will take alot for me to ever get rid of it it was my first car and i feel im married to it now lol
Awesome project and coming along quite nicely
Once that welding is done, you won't need to touch it again
I'm doing mine early next year and plan to do the whole lot, sills & jacking points in particular.
Can't wait to see the finished article
cheers mate good luck with yours i had to replace every thing as the whole car was rotten including jacking points and boxing sections mate how far will you need to go with yours
hi mate cheers for the comments on jrp's account at mo as we are working on his car
Update of the dash, phil has been hard at work all night LOL and its looking really good... pictures dont do it justice... mr precision himself
good darts phil:ho:
Agree with jrp looks alot better in the flesh pics don't do it justice. Love the hat phil you and john looked like a right pair of batty boys with the hats.
You What James ? my names fred dibnah not jrp
thanks for all the comments really pleased all my hard work is paying off and dash has come out sweet and thanks to jrp who makes a cracking cuppa keeping us all warm in his play room garage good to see all you guys tonight james, dave, chris and jrp
Its nice that my gaff is the AREA meeting point. Love being able to help out and always interesting to have differnt people and different things being done or worked on.
As you say phil its like a big play room
love it guys , keep it up phil i havent touched mine for months
I know my sills are in need of some tlc, hence replacing them outright.
Jacking points are screwed at the rear, fronts look alright but I plan to do it all in one go. Box sections look good, will know better when the car is stripped
Aiming to have the 2ltr in and running early next year, the bodywork will follow soon after
Watching threads like this are really inspirational
